Curtains / Valances ??

This post is at the request of Tracy ........

Have any of you removed the hard valances that came with the coach and replaced with curtains or fabric ? If so we would love to see some pictures as we are considering this.

Thanks guys !!

We recovered our front living area window Valances with a lighter material, then we removed the Valance over the kitchen table and replaced it with a pleated fabric valance on a curtain rod.
Looks much better, sorry do not have pictures.

they sit on the bracket that holds the pull down shades. There is a small
a plastic clip in the bracket that is spring loaded and all you need is a small flat to push the spring clip while holding the shade. once the shade is down you will see two screws vertical that where behind the shade rolls , take those out and lift off the valance.

Thanks! And how about the wood trim around the window? We have a leak that looks like a waterfall. Looks like we’re going to have to seal it up so trying to get to the screws for the window assembly.

The window may not be in the hole strait and or the Rubber roof may need a really close look at the edges
