Central VAC electric beater brush

Anyone have any experience with any external electric beater brush?

We tried one non electric, vacuum driven, but just a joke.

We have the REAL air turbo head from red devil.. (kept it when we sold our last carriage) because it works so good. Any vac shop will sell you an air powered head for your system, that actually works. Go to the retailer (vac shop) and try them b4 you buy. The Red Devil units in most rigs have more than enough air flow to run the air driven units. If you don`t have the air flow.. maybe a dust bag and air filter change is required.

We the Husky version I think, and we've had it for years. I give it 2 thumbs (out of 5). It works fine in the living room, but the further away from the vacuum the slower it gets - also requires me to take it completely apart and clean it every spring because it gums up over the winter.

We keep an upright oreck in the closet, hard to beat old school. But love the house system for sweeping

Found the perfect solution. Not cheap but actually works.

Bought the Dyson DC59 Motorhead. Mounted in the closet with the washer and dryer. Great vacuum, easy to reach and charges fast. No cables, only 24 minutes on one charge or 6 Munster turbo but again, it works and it works good.

We have the same thing and I guess I like it......hard to believe that little thing does as good as the big Dyson.
