Thank you sir... the electric side of my water heater seems to have stopped working. I did all the basic checks and tests but I can't get it to work. Time to call in a tech.

Brian couldn't call me during regular working hours so he did so after he got home. That is going above and beyond as far as I'm concerned.
After he set me up with several service options I asked him if he ever dropped by the forum. He said he used to but after an unpleasant experience here he decided it was better that he didn't. Too bad. His input would be a nice thing to have around here.

When I was on the Forest River forums the service manager from Concertone (radio) took a beating from a few of the members. A lot of us got after the abusers because of the value a person in that position brought to the forum.

We all have opinions and should be allowed to share them but if you have to belittle someone regardless of who they are than you are in reality belittling yourself.

Now Dave you know I don't stir up anything behind the scenes

Not you KR, you're to busy trying to figure out how to get out of doing laundry, even if it costs you big $$ to buy Washer/dryers sets.

You've got a good point, time for a new strategy.

A tip of the hat and a thank you to KR for suggesting I check the high limit t-stat on my water heater. After removing the cover I saw that it was scorched. A local rv shop had one in stock so I replaced it and have plenty of hot water. Best of all I didn't have to pay a mobile tech a $100 service charge or break camp, haul the rig to the nearest service center and wait for them to "get to it".
Trip uninterrupted!
Thanks Bryan

Check with your sales rep or dealer maybe thy can refund your purchase and maybe pay you for installing it. I mean look at those Californians that got a non Redwood dealer set up for warranty.
