I mounted 3 metal closet rods (front to back) which I use to store long items across and I have a metal basket that I hang from two of the closet rods with chain/hooks. We are full time and the wife is an artist so we carry canvases in the basement.

Ours normally looks like that. Although right now it's a bit more stuffed since the dining table is currently being stored down there. We also have 3-4 empty containers down there. I keep asking my DW if I can remove the empty containers and she says "No". Guessing she has plans for them at some point!

To be fair, we don't have a gen set so we can keep some stuff up there as well, although that space is mostly empty as that's where I store the big manual Satellite Dish during transport.

I took a plastic shelving unit like you would use in a garage, took a shelve and legs, and strapped the inside legs to the wall so they wouldn't move, and this made double decker storage.

I don't see the golf clubs! Ours could look similar to that but the dang clubs are too bulky.

The air tank I use to power an air pressure gauge master test station. I check air pressure gauges for accuracy (Free) as well as sell gauges that are adjustable. There are many places electric is not available and I can fill the tank and still use the test station. I also use it to fill my G rated tires as the tank has a max air pressure of 135 and my electric compressor only 110.

No golf clubs. Gave it up.
