Yes. And to be honest I'm not sure if it was a fuel line or just an o-ring but the engine got a diesel fuel bath! Kind of scary actually if you think about it.

Funny thing is we had just hauled the Redwood about 1K miles from where the fuel filter was changed. It happened a few days after our arrival when just driving around town. Very odd it didn't happen during the tow.

Called Ford and they sent a tow truck, towed to dealer and they asked where my last filter was changed. When I told them another dealer they covered everything under the warranty. Other than that event this truck hasn't had a single issue. Very pleased!

Good that ford stepped up. My trucks were serviced in my garage, and the leaking cap would not fail untill a few hot & cold cycles of the engine. Could tell the difference in the force required to screw cap back on. Started changing plastic caps every other filter change. I get a touch overboard on maintenence, and dislike tow trucks.
