AC duct on roof

Think I've got the problem where the foam separator between return and supply ductwork has fallen away. I know there are pictures of what to look for here on the forum, but I can't find them.

Anyone have a link or the pictures ? It's rather warm here in AZ and I'm headed up onto the roof very shortly so I don't become a roof splat ! Lol
I think I remember what needs to come apart but not totally sure

Many thanks guys !!

Vaughn, we're between Tucson & Phoenix just off I10 & it's 105 @ 10:30, too hot to be on the roof. The roof material & your shoe soles may melt & become one.
Also you have to remove the metal doghouse under the ac shroud & it'll be too hot to touch, better get Tracy's oven mitts.

Ha ! I've got you beat by 1 degree. Here in Page it's 106. But as they say, it's a dry heat. 11% humidity today. And I'm 500' from the lake so you would think it would be more ......

Redwood is doing ok, coach is holding at about 80-81. I'm happy with that. By around 6:00 it starts to catch up and by 7:00 we're usually at around 74.
Pulled the doghouse on front unit and it actually was ok in the ductwork. Did need a good condenser cleaning on both units so did that whil up there. Now I've got to see if I can find a replacement blower motor for the unit. Front one is starting to make a bit of bearing noise. Think I'll,buy both for insurance. Lol. I know how my luck goes.

Vaughn,
This should be the motor that you will need.

Hope this helps.

Thanks Guy !! That was going to be my project for tomorrow morning.
Should I replace the capacitors while I'm there ? No issues other than a bearing getting a little noise.

Vaughn,
I would recommend changing the capacitor for the fan motor; I think it is a 7.5 mfd. There should be 5 leads going to the motor; 2 from the capacitor to the motor and 3 for power that selects 1 of the 2 speeds. Be sure to maintain the same connections for the capacitor. The motor leads and capacitor leads are color coded.

I took a few pic's of what I found and how I repaired my "block off" panel between the supply and return air chambers back on 8-16-17, but not sure how to grab them and attach here. Might search for me under thread Air conditioning not cooling, part deux page 4.

Good Luck and stay cool, or move north..haha

What kind of ACs do people have? Are they all Coleman-Mach?
