We've had our 36rl for a month or so. Noticed that the living area heated up fine, but the bedroom is cold. It seems no air is coming out of the vent at the foot of the bed. All other vents work (including bathroom) and the basement is VERY WARM. Anyone else had this problem? Any suggestions for a fix?

Had the same problem. We caught it during the PDI. Dealership repaired it, now it is working very well. I do not know what the problem was but I would guess the ductwork was not connected by the factory.

If you want a quick fix without the difficulty of a dealer visit, you can pull the basement wall (4 or 5 screws). All the flex ducts join the furnace right behind the wall on the RL. Sounds like one duct came loose.

Same thing happened to us. This is just another thing in a long list of poor woorkmanship. The ducting had fallen down from its placement in the main floor ducting. It was poorly taped on and the dryer type ducting from the heater was a little to short pulling on the connection to the main duct. Some screws, some silver ducting tape and a brace solved the problem. Was a pain in the butt to work on but better than spending hours at the dealer. Don't just re tape it as it will only fall again. I tried this first.

I haven't had any problem with mine yet but I'll look inside and double check. Would some vinyl strapping help hold it in place?
