2012 Vinyl Flooring?

We just had an unfortunate issue with a screw falling out of the oven panel and lodging under the slide. When we extended the slide we noticed a 4" gouge/slice in the flooring. I need to determine what brand flooring was used and hopefully, find a repair process that won't involve taking up the entire kitchen floor. Can anybody help a brother out?

Thanx,

Jim

Most likely you will not find the same vinyl as it gets discontinued after a few years in most cases. You might be able to take a piece out from under a cabinet or sometimes even find it in the basement areas on some since it is installed before any other parts. There are many seam sealers out there that you could apply to the tear but would not make it look better. If you can find a piece of vinyl a patch is easy.

Pretty sure we were going to have to put n a patch but I'm trying to determine the original product so I can find a compatible cement with which to put in a "dutchman". There's a seam sealer that is needed as well but there are different products for different materials.

There's a place near Goshen IN that sells everything in the RV as a surplus store. They buy all the materials left over each year from the factories.

Bontragers rv surplus in Sturgis, Michigan. If they don't have it you probably don't need it.

If its like mine - its actually a vinyl tile - piece of cake to replace and I think they still use the same stuff today, at least from all the pictures I see inside Redwood. Maybe Tiara RV still can get them.

I always worry about stuff rolling under the kitchen slide. My buddy dropped a 9v battery under there and it mangled his floor.

Hi Jim,

If you call Redwood's Customer Service at 855-226-7496 they can tell you the name of the flooring and they just might have some.
