Bo Dually,

I don't have any experience with the maxx only the fantastic. I'll find out when our unit gets done.

The Fantastic fans and maxx fans both have a two year limited warranty on everything, except the domes.the Fantastic dome is life time. the Maxx dome is six years.

We loved the floor plan of the 36RE and ordered it with 2 windows in the back and downsized the TV. On delivery we were pleased with that modification in that it provided more light and the smaller TV didn't dominate the room.
This forum is a great place to get some feedback on other upgrades to consider when you place your order.
Let us know how your plant tour goes and good luck with your order process.

Happy trails and safe travels

Flyfisher,

When you ordered your coach with the 2 windows in the back, did you you just switch the two windows on the side to the back and move the lights to the side? OR did you eliminate the lights and ADD two additional windows? I am very interested in moving the two windows from the side to the back and moving the lights to the side.
Happen to have any photos that you would like to show off? I would love to see the modificiation. Also did it cost quite a bit more for the mod?
We went to the factory on Thursday and I told them I would like to make this mod and they said they didn't know if it was possible. I explained that someone on the forum had this done and they said they would check into it to see if it could be done. I spoke to the plant manager and he said he was pretty sure it could be. Sure hope they will still do this mod.

Hi, this is Tim and Ginny from Ft Myers FL. We toured the factory on Jan 13, 2012 and were very impressed.. The result was we ordered a 34 SK on Feb 13th from Kittsmiller RV in Lansing MI. Melissa is the best sales rep & we highly recommend her If you live around MI. We have a seasonal lot on the Muskegon River near Evart MI. We are trading in a Carriage that has been great, but look forward to our New Redwood!!!! We spent about 2 months and looked at all the other 5th Wheels, and feel the the Redwood has the most to offer!!! Melissa at Kittsmiller called a few days ago and said our Redwood should arrive April 8th or so! We can hardly wait!!

Has any one else order a 34 SK? We like that model because the bathroom is part of the slide out along with the bedroom! That whole area is so roomy!

Bo Dually, We left the existing windows and added the two windows on the back wall. There was enough room to keep the lights on the wall as well.
I can email you a photo of the finished product, I have yet to figure out how to post a photo here. There was an additional charge in the $500 range. We felt like the end result was well worth the cost, at least for the look and style we were looking for.

Hello members we are new to this and purchased a 2012 36fl that we ordered and received in January and are waiting for the snow to melt so we can load it up and start living in it full time. Just wondering what you members have for a truck for pulling it?
