Be sure to place it on the city or park end of your white or rv water hose as they are expensive too, not the end that enters your coach.

I'm curious, why do you say not the end by the coach? I have a whole house regulator that is connected in my cabinet and not where I hook up to their supply.

The regulator will only protect you from the regulator on. If you connect to the coach side, too much pressure before the regulator could burst your supply hose. Why not protect your hose as well?

If your hose burst inside the convenience center you'll have a basement full of water. Always place regulator at faucet!!

Must have been in a hurry to leave town!

I do a walkaround 2x after I "think" I have everything put away. Left the TV antenna up on several occasions.
Now have specific duties for me and my wife. She looks after all "inside" items... shower door, sliding Diva closet door, TV lock, TV Antenna, Office door, all windows.
I do all the outside stuff... power cord, water hose and regulator, sewer pipe secure (lost one last year... $50 to replace pipe and fittings) all jacks up, stairs stored, lights checked, brakes checked... missing any one of these can really spoil your whole day.

Got word this AM of the VIN for our new 39MB and it looks like we're getting a Bonus, per the date code decoder it should be Titled as a 2016, we were figuring 2015.
A few more things to be done then it will head for paint, so a mid March date still looks reasonable. Attached is the Crossroads VIN decoder I found.

Not in a hurry to leave town, but got distracted while doing my checks.

Thanks Dave, we sure hope so. We've put 35K on this one in three years and that's sitting park for 18 months (6 months in Florida each winter), and that includes last years trip to Alaska.

Michelle & Ann,

Did you wind up with the new Trailair pin box? Along with it and the our new center point, the ride home from Arizona was nice. I just picked the rig up in Sacramento and drove over some bad roads through town. Sure was a good test. Marilyn hasn't been in the rig yet to experience it so I'm anxious to get her opinion on our next trip.

We have a "new" rule... when "someone" puts the stairs up while "someone else" is inside the coach... there is an ANNOUNCEMENT and then, after closing the door, the grab bar is closed to prevent any thing from happening that would cause someone to be hurt badly.... and I am NOT Talking about the person who fell out of the coach!!

That definitely would be a mess however, I have tried to solve that issue should it come up. I silicone caulked the bottom of the convenience center with the hope that if the hose or some other water problem would exist, it would just run out the attachment hole provided at the bottom of the convenience center. Something else we always do, when we leave the fifth wheel, we always shut the water off. Had a toilet run over once and it is not a good thing to come home and see water running out from under the coach! Just little extra things you learn over time.

Rick and Mindy, I really like what you did with the silicone. I don't see a downside... I think we will do that too. Good idea.

Ken, Don't know yet as we're still waiting. New unit should be off to Paint late next week or beginning of the following week. So sort of still on schedule for a mid-March delivery if they can find a driver and he can get out of Indiana.

Hey Dave, how about a little Moonlighting and transport our unit to Florida when it's finished?

Should be about mid-March. I doubt that RW and Lazy Days won't let anyone tow it except for a Bonded RV Transporter. If I thought they would let me, I'd drive up to Indiana and pick it up myself.
