Is there options available from the factory that are not listed on the price sheet? If so, what would some of them be.

I just placed my order for an FL this week and the price sheet I had was out of sync with the one I was given to make my choices. Having said that I believe that there are unlisted options. While at the dealership I was given a recent brochure and noticed 2 items: optional slide window on the FL, and an optional second TV in the living room. I have no idea what these are so I can't help but think that there are probably more of these not listed... go figure???

Paul - the slide window could be the 2 optional windows on the living room driver's side slide. We have them and they make the LR much brighter.

Absolutely a necessity. Not only for a brighter room but when you're sitting in one of the chairs the window gives you a much better panorama of the great outdoors.

Oriana - I'm confused and I quote "36 FL shown in blonde cherry and Godiva décor and optional slide window" shown on pages 4-5 of the brochure. I can't make sense out of that statement. I know the small window facing the front in the living room slide used to be optional but I believe (and somebody help me here) that it is now standard. My dealer told me there was only one of those slide windows in that slide, but I have seen pictures with 2, one facing the front and the other facing the back. Maybe the word 'slide' is the option... who knows?

Paul - we have small windows in bothsides of the ford slide. Basically where the picture is on the bulkhead in the photo in the brochure we have a window, with a second on the rear side.

The window behind the seats on the outboard bulkhead is standard. With only that window my wife thought that sitting on the seats in the slidewould have been rather dark and claustrophobic

If you are interested I can compress a photograph. Drop me a PM with your email address.

The tank heaters are not on the build sheet either. Luckily, I was made aware of them through this forum and was able to have the factory install them. Much less $ than by the dealer.

Hi Paul. We had them install 2 windows in the chair slide in the LR. It is an option from the factory. Just tell the salesman that you want both chair slide windows installed. Good luck, you are gonna love the FL

I did notice the "Kitchen TV" in the brochure and on the website, but I've never seen it on a price sheet.

We ordered the FB and added the ottoman and an additional end table which were not on the options list.

The good thing is that Redwood will modify the coach while other manufactures wont. I was getting ready to order a new BR a few months back and they were willing to modify it quite a bit for us. As others have posted, ask your sales person to get a hold of the factory with your request and see what they say. At last years rally we had trailers there that had doors removed, windows added along with other options that I didn't know was even a possibility.

Saw a GK with kitchen 26" TV, MSRP was $674.

Have been told it now comes with 7.1 surround sound. Future options, not availabe yet,are interior LED lighting and Dyson stick vac.

We are another retired Canadian couple awaiting the sale of our house prior to ordering a FL. This is the only Redwood model that offers a sliding entry door and matching size window. (60"H X 72" W). This will be on our list of options, however, at this time, I have not heard from dealer or west coast redwood rep about the all important dollar figure.
My mornings begin with coffee and this site. Thanks to all. Papa Stu.

Stu,

I mentioned to the sales manager last week when I was at Fraserway that you were awaiting info on the sliding door option.

I'm heading out again on the 19th to do the walk through and PDI, so I'll mention it again.

You heading across to the Mainland anytime.
