Can someone tell me the model number of their Tr-Glide pin box. I want to get one on order asap and I want to make sure I order the right one.

Dave, I ordered the factory option. It says LC-05 & model says LCI194170. It's Lippert branded.

Oops - I asked this question under another topic, so will ask again here. We've heard that if we have the air ride on our truck (F450 dually) that we don't need the upgraded pin box - makes for a rough ride. Opinion/info???

I don't have direct experience on this topic, so, I can only relate what I have heard. A previous supplier that I was dealing with on a semi-custom 5th wheel trailer, before we purchased our RW, said thatyou should not use an air-ride 5th wheel hitch in the truck bedand an air-ride pin box on the trailer......they will tend to work against each other. One or the other is fine.

Are there load helper bags or are they in place of the leaf springs? Most Firestone Ride-Rite systems I've seen were helper bags. These are intended to help stabilize your truck when it's carrying a heavy load. Several of the Redwood owners have these with the Tr-Glide hitch. Those are different than air ride.

I would agree with this because you would have an air bag working against another air bag at the same point of contact.
