Kind of a nice dining table area

I was told there's been 2 of the new Carriages made for test purposes. Maybe this is one of them.

Ah cool! Looks like the Dealer I linked above has both of them (36RE and 40KB) with some slide shows if anyone wants to see them.Edited by: atom ant

Love the full body paint on the slide side outs and the new kitchen table set up! I also saw that they had slide toppers AND the 2nd awning... Some nice concepts!

Like I had posted before....as the new Carriages come out, I'll look at them. If they add enough value to the new designs I'll be happy to fork over the loot to get one.

Now we know why Redwood pulled its slide-in-the-slide for its normal models... they are using it for their "Limited Edition".

Those two are both prototypes that were done exclusively for the Louisville show. Redwood is not producing any more of them. I have not been a big fan of Carriage and I hope that we dont see Redwood focus more on the Carriage than what they have started on the Redwood product. I really like my Redwood and hope to continue to see this product/brand grow and evolve.

They pulled it?? Do you mean they dropped it?

Someone else posted they discontinued it; however, now we can see they plan to use it for their "Limited Edition". We get so many questions about ours and give tours of 36RL, it is definitely something Redwood should continue.Edited by: Adamsvr

That might have been me - we had ordered the King bed in the slide-in-a-slide that was discontinued, but they still have the slide-in-a-slide in Queen.

The issue with the king bed was it was a modified mattress to fit in the queen opening, then spread out to a king in the rest of the slide. The rep said it was not a solution to the problem and they dropped it.

That new dining and side table looks similar to the DRV Suites. I assume Redwood is talking direct aim at them. DRV is ripe for picking in my opinion as some of the floor plans are funky. I'd be interested in an upgraded Redwood if they quality is there. But then this is the RV industry!

Remember the more moving parts you have the more that can go wrong and leak and you have to maintain. Three slides are plenty enough.
