Yep, we've been in Florida since the end of October. And we'll be at the Tampa Show, either Opening day (Wed) or maybe Thur, but before the weekend crowd. The problem with opening day it's Seniors Day with a buck off, but the last several years there were so many seniors pushing their Dog in strollers that it was worse than younger folks with kids in strollers.
If RW continues refusing to offer the Mor/ryde IS as an option we might have to see what else is out there.

Recently while picking up our RW after having the caps painted, I had a chance to look under a Mobil Suites with a 18,500 gvwr. I was stunned at the difference with RW. Compared to RW, the mounts and hardware looked like it could handle 25k gvw.

The level up systems they use looks substantially better as well. Definitely a difference.

We're going to the Tampa Show. That is unless a major snow storm rolls into Indiana at the end of the year like it did last year.

Redwood uses basically the standard level up jacks like most other 5th Wheels use, DRV uses larger jacks and heaver system on their Mobile and Elite Suites.
I think the DRV Tradition uses the same Level Up System Redwood uses as the Tradition also has a 12" I-Beam frame similar to Redwoods.
The DRV Tradition was designed as a entry level DRV to compete at a price point with Redwood, Landmark and such.

In our travels we have visited with owners of probably every brand of so called fulltime coach & 99% of them have the same issues that we all have, only difference is that some of those folks paid a helluva lot more for theirs.

Danny & Linda, very true.

I'm camping this weekend with a Good Sam club in SW Florida, most of the rigs here are Class A's, lots of Monaco's, Tiffin's and a couple of Newmar's...the underlying discussion is lack of quality across the board. The RV industry is infamous for "get 'em out the door" and there is no incentive for the manufacturers to build in quality.

On our Redwood forums we continually hear that for the money we spend on our Redwoods we should get a coach with better quality. While I agree 100% the truth of the matter is we do get a value for our money spent, just not completely what we would like to see.

Don't get me wrong, there are RV's with better quality built into them, but there is a HUGE price to be paid for that assurance.

As I see it, we need to have an ongoing dialogue with Redwood, to work with the management team to continually improve this product. We may not win all our battles but with smart dialogue we make changes for the better. If you look at the 2011 Redwoods compared to the 2015's there are significant changes, many are superficial, bling...but many are also structural, suspension and such.

We still have a ways to go but with continued, constructive and organized dialogue we can make a difference in the RV's we all are proud to own...the Redwood line.

I for one want to continue to work with Redwood to improve the brand, as I see it Redwood sells itself, the current owners help make the brand more sought after, Redwood knows this and they value our input. I'm not alone out here, there are many who feel the same and are willing to do the work to continue giving input to Redwood.

I guess when we first got our Redwood, the MSRP was about 30 % more than the last 40 Ft 5th Wheel we had, so I was expecting a 30% better quality RV.
Not the case, guess the quality was about the same or a little worse than our previous 5th Wheel.
Overall since the aggravation of getting through the first issues, things have settled down and we are enjoying our Redwood.
We are upgrading / fixing items as we find them just like we did on our last 5th Wheel.

Quality is a problem even in Million Dollar plus units. Our RW was three times what we paid for our Montana. But for us the RW is much more like a Home, where the Montana was what it was, a Camper.

Michelle - very good analogy and the same way we felt when we first walked into a Redwood. Still have that feeling every time we set up.

I would agree, we were shopping for our new home when we found our Redwood.

When we sat in our Redwood at the dealer, it gave us that "warm & fuzzy" feeling, like home

Exactly the way we felt too. We arrived at the dealer intending on purchasing a different RV, but one trip into the Redwood and she stole our hearts. Even with the "issues" we've had we still love it. I hope after going full time in a two more weeks we will feel the same.

Congratulation's on going fulltime, we have been a fulltime a little over 3 years now and are still loving it.

We fulltimed the first 3 years in SOB 5er, it was a great 5th Wheel and provided us a great home as we traveled coast to coast, but it was not as comfortable and homey as our Redwood.
We are looking forward to our next years in our Redwood.

Just an update: We finally got to see the 39MB with the Butler's Pantry in person and proceeded to place an order for one with almost every option.
Now we just have to find us a Butler!!
