It seems like the best fallback is a good dealer that WANTS to sell good products...

Hopefully, I've found one as they seem to be thus far !

We have had numerous RV's since we started in the early 70's including Hitch Hiker and Carriage. Our Redwood is equal to, or better than in quality. As indicated above, a person may get a better response going through their dealer. It's like in the military, follow the chain of command.

My reference to the military had to do with the chain of command, not with how they handle the good and the bad.

I agree with john, your best asset is a good salesman that doesn't abandon you when you have problems. Mine was great. I also recommended as soon as you get it head out with it and find the issues as soon as possible.

Does Elevation even come out of Redwood manufacturing? I know that Redwood makes a 39HH which is a toy Hauler.

Elevation was on Redwood's website.......soooo was Carriage Resort.

Wake up Redwood.

Really.??? You have a "Elevation". State your case or go rant someplace else... People on here are friendly and will try to help you if you as long as you're reasonable .

They are made at the same factory but because of the price point being different they are made with different specs

Why shouldn't he or any other owner of a Redwood productexpectthe same buildquality regardless of being built from different specs? If they are built under the Redwood name thentheirreputation is on the line. Did I miss something here Dave? Price point and built to different specs has nothing to do with build "Quality".</span>

He has a trailer that was built in the same building as Redwood. Last month while we were at the rally we were able to tour the factory and looked at the new models. The day we were at the factory, they had several travel trailers being built that I believe were "Zingers". These are $20,000 trailers. By your rational, they were actually Redwoods? Are Zingers now going to be called "Zinger/Redwood" just because they're built in the same building?

My point is if you have an Elevation, your complaints should focus on the Elevation. I personally feel bad for anybody with any sort of problem with a RV that they spent their hard earned dollars on.

Also.....the internet and the different forums are full of people complaining about a product that they don't own or have any experience with. They just like to make noise

Dave, I don't see anywhere in my post where I said this. What I did say is if (Elevation and Rushmore) are produced under the Redwood name their reputation is on the line. They are listed on the Redwood web site so by all rights they are built and marketed by Redwood and built under the Redwood name.

I don't know why Hunter11 is even commenting since according to his May 19th post, we are a bunch of snobs anyway.

I beg to differ that Elevation & Rushmore are listed on the Redwood site. With the exception of a link to Crossroads RV, the Redwood site is all about Redwoods.

Yea Dave, that got me a good one! I notice you did not deny the fact you are a snob. People can probably gather that by your rules on your new Redwood forum. "Flame Rocket" did you think of that one?

Yep...everybody that reads my posts knows I'm a snob. I didn't create the rules on the other forum I simply help enforce them to keep everybody friendly. Speaking of which....

Here's your warning...calling people names will not be tolerated in either forum. Also it's against the rules or good tastes to copy posts from one forum to another because of copyright infringements. It'll be up to Tony, but in my opinion you just got black listed on the other forum.

I really don't ....

It ASSUMES, we can't be truthful about our experience and must dictate what we should think and say....

hmmm, like some out of control gooberments

If redwood doesn't want negatives, then don't build IN negatives
