Want to buy a Redwood 38RL, used 2016 model. Where do I look for reliable information on value? Purchasing from a private seller (not dealership.) Is there any place that can look at the VIN number and give me private seller market value? I'm willing to pay for the information.

Not sure about finding out just by the vin. RVtrader.com and nada.com will help you get an idea. Good luck.

You can try NADA at 2017 Redwood RV Price, 2017 Redwood RV Values & 2017 Redwood RV Specs | NADAguides

They do not list all the options or the aftermarket upgrades, but it might give you a reference. My 2015 38RL had a list of around $130K. NADA prices it at $48K, with about 12K of options missing. I wouldn't sell it for $60K. Right now I like it better than I did in 2015!

Can you tell us about it, list what it has beyond what the factory installed. Washer, dryer, dishwasher, generator, etc. I think we all could give you a rough idea. Make sure you check Craig’s list.
