Denver RV Show Jan 6-9 2016

So we crawled out of our small mountain community and took the drive to the big city of Denver for the RV Show. We navigated the 6th ave, I25 and numerous one way streets to reach our destination. Yes, we did drive on the sidewalk at one point, but to my defense it was the light rail track and you could not tell the street from the light rail lane We had the Grand Cherokee so I figured it was just some good ole Salida 4wheelin'

Day one of the show, we were hounded by the carnival barker salesmen of all things from lotions to windows to pocket pets. Yes, I said pocket pets. Apparently they are "sugar bears" and they are like a little rat that lives in your pocket ??? No seriously !!

We went looking for a RW and our "local" dealer who we bought from had probably 1/4 or so of the entire place. We walked up and down all sorts of lesser brands and found a salesman. "Do you have any RW's here", his response, "no, we did not have enough room. But, have you seen the Solitude??" So their business is still not back in my favor

So wandering around all the other types of rigs, low and behold what pops out from the end of the row ????

2016 Entegra Anthem 44B. Holy crap. Show over for us.

Day two, slapped all the carnival barkers on the way by, signed up for every drawing available, told the insurance lady she could not beat our price and did not have the time, asked the traeger dealer why he did not have a PTG on site for RVers, told the pocket pet dude the our two dogs would probably eat the little sucker and asked if we could take the electric bikes on a tour around the show

Went and spent about 2 more hours with the Entegra, sigh.

Well....I was going today, but I may not waste my time if the Dealer didn't have room. Gee zoots. Next months show puts the fifth wheels in the livestock arena, fresh after the stock show this month. That smell would turn your thoughts on anything outdoors.

Just got back from the Denver show - none of the high end stuff was there. Mostly middle of the line to low end - shoot. Talked to the Tiffen rep and he said they don't even bring the diesels to this one, the next one is the big one. The Entegra stuck out like a Bertram Yacht in a fishing village, especially with all the accent lighting outside.

I was disappointing Redwood wasn't there. But it would have looked a bit overdressed as well.

Ford had a heck of a goody bag they were handing out! Insulated bag, aluminum water bottle, ball cap, stocking cap, 2 USB adapters, scarf, two packs - jee zoots.

That's okay.......

Every year there's upgrades. I'm in love with the customer service, build quality and powers train. We'll probably upgrade one more time before retirement and we'll see what new features they offer then.
