I understand they changed the awnings on the new trailers. Anybody know what other changes have been made on the new rigs?

As stated in an earlier thread, we picked up our new RW a week ago. What is different about the awning? Don't know if ours is different than yours. One change that you already know about is the window shades. Really like them. That's all I know about.

We picked up our Redwood RE this week and noticed the following...
...new carpet (we're happy with the new version)
...new tiled flooring (I believe its a vinyl tile)
...a new dresser/enterainment center in the bedroom with an armoire (sp?), sink, medicine cabinet and four-drawer dresser
...quartz countertops and blacksplash
...no longer has the swinging dump station. A tube has been mounted for a dump hose near the conv. center)

This is what we've noticed so far.

I think the bedroom door is hinged on the bathroom side also, right?

Since I ordered the 2nd awning, I expected to not have all three slide covers. I recall seeing a post indicating a cover could not be placed on the slide with the 2nd awning. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find covers on all my slides.

I know when we went on the rally tour that the 2013 had new flooring. Which I think is 2' X 2' squares now instead of a full width flooring. New style of couch and chairs. Which I WISH we had. Much more comfortable, because you dont sit so straight up in them. our's is a 2013 but we must have been in the in between stages when ours was built. Oh that reminds me, HEY REDWOOD I STILL NEED PRICING ON THE CHANGE OVER TO THE NEW CHAIRS FOR 36FL! I thought they also mentioned that they were going to a different Key pad for the doors too.

I thought someone had posted that the new awnings had the aluminum wrap on them.

I'm still trying to decide whether to by a new unit (BR) this spring or wait until next fall. I'm trying to get as many new features as I can and if they did switch to the aluminum wrapped awnings it would be a plus.

Picked up our 2013 36rl in early October (came off line 9/25, I think). Bedroom door is hinged on bathroom side -- factory rep said that's now standard. We did get washer & dryer installed at factory -- wonder if that made a difference? Not sure if it's a blessing or not. Makes doing laundry a lot easier, but the space between the door and the bed when the door is open is tight -- glad we didn't get the king mattress -- wouldn't have had any room at all!

The last nine inches or so are curved pieces so when it's retracted it's in a hard cover

We just dropped by the factory last week and had a few things fixed up by Linda and her crew. We also had our new stylefurniture installed.
MUCH nicer than the original ones which are now in our cottage.
(UNDRPSI - I'll PM the pricing)
I ordered a new style mattress for the hide-a-bed which is a combination spring and air bladder.
The spring section is the same size as the original foam mattress about 4" thick. Once you open the bed, you attach the pump and pump up the air bladder. Zip up the cover and you now have a nice 8" thick mattress on your hide-a-bed.
However, when I dropped by the Williamsburg furniture factory to pick up the mattress, it turned out to be a double (52") wide rather than the queen (60") that we need. Williamsburg has ordered the proper size mattress and will ship it to us in Canada.

Yep....and that sure looks good and the sun doesn't have an effect on it.
