Cell booster info

Does anyone have personal experience with a CELL BOOSTER. I have the WI-FI booster from Techno RV that works great and thinking of getting the cell unit also. But there is a lot of negative reviews out there in general. Thanks good or bad info.

Wayne - I have the WeBoost by Wilson Engineering that Eric at Techno sells. Totally happy with it.
Last summer in upstate New York we were in a valley with 1 bar or no bars of signal and had one place in the coach where we could maybe get cell service for phone call. Forget about internet.

The WeBoost took signal from 1 to 2-3 and actually was able to use the MIFI A bit on the pricy side, but in our opinion worth it. I have my antenna mounted on the rig ladder and ran the cable through the left side slide. Easy install.

I saw all the negative reviews also. When I talked to Eric he told me that location of the antenna is critical. His preferred location is on the batwing antenna and then when you crank the antenna up you've not only added height but also it is clear of as units, etc. I've got the Winegard automatic OTA antenna so that wasn't an option.

I'm happy with it.

We also have the boosters from Eric and very happy with them.
I mounted our antenna on a collapsible flag pole so we can have it about 20'-25' high. I ran the wire which I also purchased from Eric into my compartment with the propane bottle and just plug in there. Pole mounts against the side of my front slide.
