AC filters

I removed my AC filters for cleaning & had a couple of the foam filters were torn, not being able to find the foam I found regular filter pads to fit. I had to trim a bout 2" off of length, but width is perfect & I feel they filter better. Bought these at Ace Hardware $4.99 for a 12 pack, now just toss them & replace.0812150935.jpg

Oh COOL! I was hoping there would be some way to filter the air in the coach.

I am going to use them in the four intake vents instead of the funky, porous foam thing in there, it does't do anything but tear. Good idea FTG!

Would these restrict the flow? With so many complaining about the efficiency of the air (I think a product of full body paint) any restriction could make matters worse.

Still could cause a restriction on the intake .... If they are more dense I would suspect they will ... Just asking. Maybe try an note a before and after seat of the pants flow and sound.

Been using them now for 5-6 weeks with no apparent restrictions. The last two weeks & the last 2 days have been over 100 degrees, thermostat set at 76 & temp inside is 76. They don't cycle much but it's100 degrees. We have a small fan in the living area & in the bedroom which helps also.
