Who to contact for plastic fender cover for Redwood

Hi folks,
We had a blowout and it damaged one side of the plastic fender cover. We've called our dealer to order a replacement, but they can only get it in black. Ours is not that color. Who could we contact or how would we go about getting the proper replacement part? Ours is Redwood 41' RW38GK, purchased in 2017.

Regardless of who or where you get it it'll be black.
You can go to an automotive paint store & possibly order a rattle can of paint to match or a body shop to have it painted, but you won't find one off the shelf to match the custom paint job on your RW. Also if it happens to be in 2 separate pieces over the wheels it'll be 1 piece, you'll have to cut it wherever necessary. It's a one size fits all.
I can't believe your dealer didn't inform you of this, they know it, apparently didn't want to deal with it.

That was exactly the impression we got from our dealer....they were not very helpful. Fortunately, the part we can get is 1 piece, which is what we need. I can't believe Redwood does not offer parts in all of their custom paint colors. Oh well, I guess we'll just go ahead with the black one and get it painted by a body shop. Thanks so much for the answer!

every painted RV is a custom paint job, it would be impossible to paint a bolt on part to fit two different RV's. the trailer is assembled then sent to a different company for paint. They hand tape the mask off areas to add a different color. True they masking templets are cut on a plotter, but the crew makes the final taped on location.

Expect the shipping cost to be nearly the same as the part price.

Trekwood is ridiculously expensive especially on shipping, but unfortunately in some cases they're the only option. But I would exhaust ALL other options before them.

You may also find that getting that small piece painted will be expensive. The body shop will have to custom mix the paint, prime, paint & clearcoat that piece of trim, you may decide black looks just fine.

I had to replace the fender on my 2016. WEnt to the dealer to have it painted. It cost $700 and change to match the paint.

Geo9350,

Please share with us the manufacturer and part number.
There are many fender skirts on Amazon that don't fit a Redwood. For example, you can get a tan pair for $119 with free shipping which is about what these plastic parts should be worth. Thanks.

We purchased our replacements through Tiara Rv in Indiana. Happy with what we recieved. Had to get them painted to match.

Fender Skirts

I couldn't find where on Amazon I bought mine, but measuring mine and looking on Amazon I found this one that I believe will work, it is sold by Elk Mountain RV, I would go on Amazon and ask a question if it would fit your RV by the model you have. Mine is about the same measurements of this one listed, I couldn't find one other than this one but ask Elk Mountain if they have other colors as well. Good luck, hope this helps.

That is one of the advantages of the Redwood Rally. I got a pair for free while at the Rally in July.

We were in Nashville for the week with friends from our Alaska Trip. So we just watched it on TV. Had three weeks reservation on Sanibel Island which isn't going to happen now as you can't get there except by boat. Daughter is Northwest of Tampa and just got rain and wind, but no damage. Most of our park in Sebring lost power for a few days, but sounds like min damage other that damage to trees and some minor damage to some roofs. If it had come a couple of weeks later, we would have been on Sanibel and would have had to beat feet out of there.
Oh, by the way we're now "Homeless Trailer Trash", sale of our house should be finalized this week.

BTW.. Elk Mountain IS TIARA RV.. that's what they call their online store... just watch the shipping $$ on Amazon if its from Elk..
I have had good luck with Tiara and Elk on smaller items that I could not fond locally.... the shipping is not as bad on smaller/lighter items
