Whirlpool Washer Problems

We have the matching Whirlpool stacked washer/dryer setup in our 2013 36FL, the washing machine had been working well until yesterday, when my DW attempted to wash the towels we used to clean up the water on the floor from the drain leak from the kitchen sink. DW keeps getting the error code F23. The model # for the washer is WFC 7500, Any help is greatly appreciated.

Did a google search quickly and came up with a few things.

“F” Variables [F01 - F30] (Electrical Problem)
Switch knob or press and hold START to cancel the cycle.
Select DRAIN/SPIN if there is excessive water in the washer.
Re-select cycle and press START. If the problem remains, call
for service

The link to the pdf I found is:
http://www.whirlpool.com/digitalasse...%20Care_EN.pdf

So looking like an electrical problem. Good luck and post results.

Chris

Pressure switch failure

Should the main electronic control unit detect that the wash level contact (or level) is on and the switch level for wash heater safety is off for any more than ten seconds during a wash this error code will be displayed.
Resetting the program may clear this error but unlikely.
  • Check the pressure switch or sensor for operation and electrically
  • Check the wiring from the main electronic control card to the level sensor
  • Check all connectors between the main controller and pressure switch
  • Run test program
  • Also see F08 and F12 as heater failure can cause this error to occur

Thank you for the response. Last night I did a google search for the solution and a person had had the same error code, they disconnected the power overnight and then reconnected the washer and that cleared the error code. We did the same thing and this afternoon we crossed our fingers and connected the washer, threw in a load and the washer started working DW did 2 loads. Its like rebooting your computer!!!!
