Water pressure

Have a good regulator on water line, came set at 40 PSI, have kept at this pressure. I would like to know if anyone runs at a higher pressure, don't want to increase and cause myself a problem with seals?

If your unit is primarily PEX then 60 psi is not an issue, PEX is rated at 150 psi. I keep mine set on 60 and find that to be just fine. Early on I experimented with filters and cleaned aerators. The only issue that showed up was a loose fitting on a toilet that stopped leaking when tightened.

My regulator came preset at 55 psi & if the park is close to that it's a good pressure. IMHO 40 psi is too low, but have found that's about where most parks are set.

Just FYI, this not a "regulator", it reduces the pressure by restricting the flow.

Thank you very much for that information, have lived in this Redwood for 3 yrs full timing and always had acceptable but low pressure, spent three months in Va this year as DW underwent SI fusion surgery and after living in a house that has killer water pressure returned to Fl and the first thing wife says is honey can we get more water pressure. Go figure.
Love this site and all you wonderful people.

Upgrade your shower head to the Oxygenics head & even low pressure won't affect your shower.
