And Hot in the summer if you have the black front. With the Cedar in there it feels like a private sauna!

I know this an old thread, but has anybody found a fix for this? We have water dripping from light switches and screws under the front. I took out the floor safe and shelves and you can see the nose cone. It was all wet and dripping down. All the insulation was hanging down to. Is this something to maybe take out all the BAT insulation and use spray insulation?

I think the only way to keep condensation out is to vent it somehow. In your case, are you sure you don't have a leak at the top of the nose cone?

If I remember correctly the issue I was having was due to it being the North Dakota cold outside and very warm inside causing condensation along with checking the clearance lights at the top front of the camper. There was ZERO caulking towards the bottom of the lights where snow/rain would gather and leak into the nose cone. Hope this helps.

I will not tell you what we went through to correct the heat/cold.. condensation problems in both our end caps.. ... because if i do... a long and ugly rant will ensue... We are stuck with our 2013 36fl PIECE OF CRAP.. condensation is caused by fallen or loose insulation in the caps.. or like in our case NO INSULATION AT ALL!!!!.. big..big.. repair..(our expense) Redwood to us to go fly a kite..

Water in our nose cap was a result of no caulking at the front ends of the gutters beneath the drain spouts. The spouts terminate at the nose cap joint. Water draining off the roof from rain or condensation or from the aircon units ran down the gutters and into the open joints. Easy fix to remove the spouts, seal the open joint beneath with caulk and reattach the spouts. Problem disappeared. (Also increased the front cap insulation with two rolls of fiberglass batts installed thru the shoe holder opening in the diva closet.)
