Washing machine / fabric softener

Does anyone have trouble getting the liquid fabric softener to dispense into the washing machine? I put liquid Landry detergent & a small amount of fabric softener in the proper containers, but when the wash has finished, the fabric softener is still there. I tried calling the Splendide people, left a message & no response. I also emailed them with no response either.

We use dryer sheets.

My wife said she dilutes the liquid softer with:

1/2 softer and 1/2 water. Our unit is several years old and no such problem so far.

I have a splendide and I have had 2 issues so far and they have sent a new door overnight, free, and solved my other issue in 2 minutes. They always call me back and I have been very satisfied with their service. It is stellar! You need to call and leave your number again, or keep trying, you will get it resolved. No softener issues for me. Reduced drying issue, which was solved with a phone call. Fabric softener is a must to get wrinkles out of jeans and then it doesn't do a great job. Jeans are jeans.

An update just now, since we were in Canada fishing last week.
Figured out our problem - this spring we had installed a new water filter (the best one). We think it got plugged up when our campground owner did work on the wells. The water flow slowed down a lot in RV, so much so that our washer stopped working & buzzed with an "H20" error code, which we're not sure what that meant. Anyway, we took the filter out, and now improved water flow & washing machine and fabric softener dispenser works great! We're getting a new water filter, just the basic white one.
