What is the best washer dryer to install in our Redwood? We had
a full size top loader stacker, (totally the best, big loads, clean cloths), in
our old fifth but I won’t fit in our new 38RB RW. We work construction and need
clean cloths daily, our washer dryer get a work out. We need something that
cleans heavy duty, not just a few things for a weekend trip. PLEASE ADVISE
before my husband goes out and buys whatever will fit in the closet. LOL
The man needs to get it done now!!!

We have the Splendide in our Redwood and like it. I pack mine full and everything comes out clean although it does take a while. I always heard the stories of not loading much into them but I can pack quite a bit in there with good results.

We have a Splendid too; however the door handle just broke. Another $200 fix. When it was working, it did a great job, albeit a little slow.

We have the washer and dryer in our 36RL. The Splendide is splendid.

Anyone with the Splendide dryer have any problems with it being noisy? When the thing is running it whirrrrs loudly. Is that just ours or is common?

Ditto on the Splendide washer and dryer. Both get the job done. My dryer is louder than I expected and it does shake the coach a bit, but nowhere near what the washer does in the spin cycle. I'd buy them again.

We really like ours - Splendide. Like others say, they do take longer than traditional washers & dryers in houses, but they do a great job. And the little bit of noise - hey, lots better than going to laundromats!

We opted for the GE stackable, washer on the bottom and dryer on top.

We chose the GE cause the dealer told us we could have Sears service it where we are instead of taking it to a dealer.

It's not a full size W/D, smaller loads but it really does hold quite a bit. Thet do take longer and the dryerdoesn'tget as hot as one at home but I'm not surprised, it's 120v...not 240v

If you don't mind me asking ~ what models are the GE Washer / Dryer in your coach and what model is your coach ? We have a 36RL and I would really prefer a stackable unit so that we could keep more of the storage in the laundry area. If I have to modify the shelf, I can, but if there is a combo that fits without cutting, it would be great.

Many thanks in advance

We have the stackable Splindede and love it since we can wash and dry at the same time. We had the Splindede combo washer/dryer in our Open Range and it was ok but left alot of wrinkles and took longer.

We have the Ariston model of Splendide and the washer is in a pan on the floor and the dryer is on a shelf above the washer...Ours do really well and if I need a back rub I just lean against the washer

Our coach is a 36FB, the W/D closet is next to the shower and is designed for the stackables.

The washer is a GE/Whirlpool WFC7500, the dryer i also a GE/Whirlpool model LDR3822
