Vaughan's and ours are the same age, and the washer/dryer in it that long with no slide issues at all.

We started with Splendide stackables in a class A and loved it. TT we just got rid of had a Splendide 2100xc(combo unit in a small closet) and it did well also. New 2021 RW with the stackables splendide in our master closet, and it does great. All have been vented, all the issues others have talked thru occur if not vented ( moisture, longer cycles, lint in whatever area they are in). We travel with a 150 lb dog and when it rains, towels are at a premium. W/D removes that issue for us. Remember they are smaller, even the stackables or side by side, so smaller loads, smaller amounts of detergent required, etc. We also wash most things in cold water. As noted, it is great. You still get to enjoy campfires or other activities without sitting in some stuffy laundromat, or worse...we also found it is a lot easier to pack clothes knowing we can wash pretty much anytime.

We have two small apartment units. Can’t imagine being without them if you’re fulltime.
If ours died tomorrow there would be an Amazon order the next day !! Lol

When we were in our unit full time thought I would not be with out them. Now that we only do long trips and weekends I think they are added weight. I think it depends on how much you use your RW.

Yes

Absolutely, if it’s in your budget do it. Splendide, I believe that’s how it is spelled are just great. Quite and work great for us.
