Has anyone read the Thor forum about the issues with the warranty changes. Seems as if WE DON'T HAVE A 2+5 warranty after all. It is a 1 year + what ever comes from the item manufacture warranty. Check the thor forum out and if U don't mind explain to me how I am reading info wrong.

On the Redwood website the warranty is still clearly shown as 2 + 5. Not sure where the 1 year information is coming from.

Check the CROSSROADS NEW WARRANTY.
LOok for POST from NORSKEBOB. READING "the entire post for CROSSRODS NEW WARRNTY, EXPLAINS the OLD WARRANTY. Posted: 10/28/12.
Maybe this is OLD INFO, can't see any info on the REDWOOD site that updates the info.
Thanks in advance, just trying to confirm.

Neither do I see Cross Roads on anything other than the fact that Thor Redwood lets us take it to any Crossroads dealer for warranty work. They told me just to get the Crossroad dealer to call them and they would approve it.

This all came up last fall as well. Apparently, they were trying to warrant all the Cross Roads 5ers with the 2+5 warranty but soon discovered that it was a bad idea. When asked at the Rally last year we were told that the Redwood warranty was going to stay with the original warranty. I wouldn't worry about this stuff too much.

Agree with what Dave said. I believe the warranty will not change for Redwood.

I agree with you Dave. I remember this same discussion last fall and also remember the comments made by the Redwood representitives about the warranty when it came upduring the Redwood rally factory tour last summer.

Redwood does not plan to change the warranty.

Although they share some common resources, Redwood is not a Crossroads product so I wish our forum members would quit trying to combine them conceptually. I'm sure they have different warranties.

I just had some warranty work done and mine was 1 year first of March, not to say they did my annual redwood inspection and it seems like everyone has had to have some resealing done (voids and gaps) $422.41 later! if you have voids and gaps in one year seams like to me something wasn’t done right.

Redwood is a Crossroads product. When I took delivery of my 2013 36RL the MSO I was given from the factory clearly states Crossroads as the manufacturer and model is Redwood. When I took my MSO to the state to get the coach registered, the state flipped it exactly the same way - Crossroads is the manufacturer and Redwood is the model. As long as Redwood is handing out MSO's reading Crossroads - the consumer will continue to combine the two products as one.

We just picked up our FB Last Thursday, warranty is 2/5.

The coach is all we dreamed of and expected from Redwood, we just returned home from our maiden voyage, learning the systems... It is AWESOME!!!! So many people in the campground commented and admired the coach.

Love this coach!

Our thanks to everyone on this forum, the information learned has made the research and buying process so much easier, y'all are so generous in your sharing. We look forward to seeing each of you in our travels around the country. A few more weekend/weeklong trial runs before we go full time in May.

I could not agree more. The amount information shared everyday is invaluable. As some one who is new to Redwood as well as 5th's wheels in general, I could never have learned so much on my own. I read the forum everyday and almost everyday, I find more valuable information.

Thanks to everyone here!

It is like Thor doesn't like the name Crossroad, such as on the emblem on the left side of the RV, it says Thor Redwwood. Thor ownes Montana too, but the Thor name isn't on it. Just saying.

You purchased a Redwood! If you purchased a chev and it was a lemon does that mean that all GM products are lemons. I have read a lot of posts on this forum and I am surprised at the few negative posts that seam to get a lot of attention. Yeh Lilly Dave is a Redwood supporter as we all are. As I had said a while ago. You have a problem, call Redwood. I can't believe that this is just sliding by. I hate whe we only get one sideI asked Andy Wesdorp about the warranty change and he said No. The warranty is a Redwood warranty and it is in affect. As 5th_time had said and I agree, it is a Redwood and please keep that clear, if you have a problem, please call Redwood. Please get the proper answer and post it. No more knee jerk reactions. Sorry for the long winded post, don't usually do that , but I am also a Redwood supporter, dam it I bought one!

Hearing from everyone who chimes in on this forum about the warranty is correct.
I can understand all the REDWOOD owners whom want to be disassociated from any connection to Crossroads. As Landmark owners should be disassociated from Heartland. As Big Sky should be disassociated from Keystone. As Infinity should be disassociated fromDutchmen. As I'm sure "Carriage" (coming in September) owners will want to be disassociated from Redwood and Crossroads.
Also, there are Redwood owners that see what their paperwork said and are associated with Crossroads. As with any written warranty, ifit's written 1 year it's 1 year. If it's written 2+5 then that is what it is with your particular unit. If one day, a one year warranty is given to a certain Vin numbered Redwood then that's what it is.
It remains to be seen how aThor "Carriage" owner will react to someone that owns aRedwood. Seeing how a Redwood will then become an average 5er compared to a bigger and better quality Carriage.
Carriage may carry a 3+6warranty.It's possible!
