Uh Oh... Water in the basement.

Found water in the basement this morning when pulling the totes out. It is coming from behind the wall.
Todd's pulling down the wall now.
Let's see who guesses what it is first
I vote it's the washer hose under the bed.
What do YOU think?

^Thanks to this forum, I fixed my washer hose the very first time I tried the washer. I also took down the basement wall last week, just to be sure everything else was dry under there.

Ok, I think it's my fault, no leaks.

In an effort to discover the reason for our water pump not priming I was trying to get water into the anti-freeze hose and I think I got water to run down the OUTSIDE of the hose into the belly. Shame on me :-)

If we all admitted the funny, crazy, stupid things we have done since being RVers, the thread would go on forever and everyone would laugh so hard that they would probably pee their pants!!!

More than one person has hooked up the fresh water supply line to the black tank flush and walked away.....

One day I took the water filter apart and then turned on the water pump.....things got wet pretty quick.

Amen Rick and Mindy! Todd is on his second trip to the hardware store... Somebody repackaged a returned fitting in the wrong package that he bought... Now he has to drive all the way back to town because our bedroom is all taken apart, we must finish this today. And yes... I am icing several beers for him, because he is grumbling a little! :-)

LOL Dave. I think we should get merit badges on a pennant to hang outside. Ours would be FULL for SURE. And when we give advice, remember, it's not cause we're SO SMART! It's cause we were so DUMB that we DID it and learned from it! Haha!

I continue to baffle myself with some of the really stupid things I do.

I know there is a slide above my head when I go in the basement from the street side yet I continually smack my head on it. A friend said I should put pool noodles on the corners...I seldom hit the corners, I always seem to hit the actual slide wall where the Schwintek track is! wish I could figure a way to pad those!!!

Dave, fortunately I haven't connected the hose to the black water flush, that could be a messy situation!! I'm so anal I actually time the amount of time I run the rinse...10 minutes per flush before draining except for when I forget to close the BW valve to let the water collect in the tank!!

Shall I go on??

My stupid one was water on the floor in the hall while running the wash machine. I immediately assumed it was the drain under the bed so I tore everything apart, bed on the picnic table - interior wood outside drying out, and found nothing.......

Dory always asks these stupid questions while I'm busy. Stupid things like - "did you open the tank drain?"! What kind of Moron does she think I am?!

After turning on the washer and watching water pour out of the top of the drain - I humbly asked her to open the tank drain...........

Not sure why she puts up with me
