TV booster location?

Can't get local TV channels, and cannot find my Booster to check on the switch. Any help is appreciated. On another issue did find my shower access it is behind the coat rack in the closet there is a round access hole to replace the faucet if it fails.

You don't say which rig you have. I have a 38gk, it's behind the bedroom tv, left side. I have to remove the tv to access it, engineering marvel!

Sallyandy,

The booster/amplifier is typically located in the bedroom on most of the Redwoods [FL's might be different as the bedroom is in the back of the rig]. Generally the booster is collocated by the bedroom TV, earlier Redwoods had them on the right side in the cabinet on the left of the TV. more recent Redwoods have them either in the cabinet to the right of the TV or behind the TV. Several people on the forum have found them behind the TV and have had their dealer relocate them to a different location as it is not feasible to have to take the TV down every time you want to change the antenna.cable option.

Doing walk through and tech couldn't find the booster. Thank you for posting. 2015 38GK. behind bedroom tv on the left. You must remove tv to get to it. IMO bad design.

Mine is inside the left armoire, at the top, on my 2015 36rl. Easy to see, and to get to.

Well in the new 39MBs, at least the couple we've looked at, it's on the left side of the Bedroom TV, the one I was looking at had enough play in the mount to slide the TV to the Right and I could reach in and turn the switch on/off. But will agree, a Very Stupid move, Hello Redwood, are you listening??????????/

Yup...mine is located behind and to the left side of the bedroom TV. I use a long narrow stick and a flashlight to turn the amplifier button on and off.

I have worked around engineers my entire career (we need more of them by the way), however one of the things that always amazed me was that there were some that didn't think about the human system interface portion. This is a perfect example!

We have a 2014 36RL, our booster was located to the left behind the bedroom TV. Worst place in the world to access. Had to take out the TV to get to the booster. Redwood paid for our dealer to move the booster switch to inside the cabinet to the left of the TV. This was done as a warranty issue, because Redwood believes it was a design flaw.

Warranty issue...I think I'll take advantage of that as well.
Thanks,
Jack

Since we hardly ever use our antenna, guess I won't worry about it. As I posted, the one I saw, I could reach in and push the button to turn the Booster on/off.
