Tires and wheels

Does anyone know the best place to buy 17.5 H rated tires and aluminum wheels. I would like to order them and have them shipped to the house if possible.
Thanks,

Here are links for the online merchant Trailer Tires and Wheels where we purchased our GoodYear G114’s and 17.5” wheels a three years ago for our 2011 36RL:

Trailer Tires and Wheels - Steel & Aluminum Trailer Wheels, Bias & Radial Trailer Tires

http://www.trailertiresandwheels.com...aluminum-wheel

For a helpful article on changing to 17.5” radius tires:

Tires - New Sized Tires

and for the VIAIR compressor/air system I installed to air these tires up to the 125psi for max load:

VIAIR Corporation - 12-Volt & 24-Volt Air Compressors and Pneumatic Systems

The best prices for VIAIR were through Amazon.com

Hope that helps!

I purchased the Viair 200 psi Ultra Duty Onboard Air System which included the 480C compressor, pressure switch, 2.5 gal accumulator tank, relay, tire inflator, and various fittings. I mounted the compressor and tank on the back wall of the front compartment then routed the air line to the pressure gauge and switch located in the basement compartment. An additional 50' air hose on a self retracting reel completes the installation.

Do you think there is a portable compressor that would top off my 110psi tires?

Viair makes several portable compressors. Visit VIAIR Corporation - 12-Volt & 24-Volt Air Compressors and Pneumatic Systems for details. It is doubtful that you'll find any portable that can be powered off the vehicle's cigarette lighter/dc power outlet (usually 15 amps max) with sufficient power. Those that can achieve 120+ psi all require a direct (30 amp) connection to the vehicle battery.

We bought this one and it works well. A little slow but I like the fact that I can use it on any vehicle.

Viair products are high quality you will not be disappointed , they are possible the best 12volt compressors available. I have a smaller viair with a 1.5 gallon tank that I can use my 1/2" impact gun with it. I had no problem removing 4 lug nuts with out letting the compressor build up , I waited 1 min for the compressor to pump up to 140 again and removed the other 4 nuts. If you need to set a bead it maybe a problem doing it tankless without either and a lighter. My unit had the control switch changed out (factory available option) it now cuts in at 110~120 and pumps up to 145psi. It can run off a 20 amp power outlet but I put a set of light duty spring clamps on the end so any battery or RV could run it . I have a slow leak on my goodyear 614 tire that I top off every time I move the camper, I put 112psi in every tire in just a few mins.

I bought one compressor awhile back that was suppose to be 150psi max. At around 80-90 psi it refuses to go any higher. All I want to do is top off the pressure of the tires before setting out. If there is a flat or significant loss of air, then the tire guy will have to handle that. I will be checking out the Viair options.

I use the Dewalt portable Compressor that has 200 lb capacity with 150 lbs head pressure. If fills my tires to 125lbs in two seconds. I could not attach the link but search for Dewalt Compressor. I think this is the one.
