After much research on several forums, I decided to bite the bullet and replace my 6 year old Goodyear G114's with Sailun S637's. I had not had any problems with the Goodyear tires not even a flat nor a blowout. It was a difficult decision to replace the tires because the Goodyears, even after 6 years, looked brand new. However, safety was my main concern so I decided it was time to replace the tires based on age. As Paul mentioned above, I too was unable to find hardly any reported problems with the Sailun S637's. Knowing several Redwood owners using the S637's who have not had any problems confirmed my decision to go with the Sailun's. I would have loved to go back with the Goodyear G114's but the price difference was, in my opinion, significant. By using my original wheel, I was able to purchase 5 Sailun S637's mounted and balanced for under $1000 from a shop in Denton, TX. Since replacing the Goodyear's we have traveled a little over 1000 miles and I have not noticed any difference in the way the trailer tows. Based on my experience I can say that the Goodyear G114's are a great tire and I would be surprised if you did not like their tire. However, if price is a factor in your decision, you may want to look at the Sailun S637's.

Is there a specific reason you must have the GYs rather than the above mentioned/recommended Sailuns?

IF you save the carcass & send it was in for testing against under/over inflation or other user neglect, IF it's found to be a defective tire, THEN they'll reimburse you for the replacement.
It's not an automatic "oh! Your GY tire blew, here's a new one!" guarantee!
I don't work for Sailun nor do I get any compensation from them, but from experience with the Sailun tires I wouldn't/didn't pay 50%+ more per tire for the GYs for that "if I have a blow out" possible reimbursement.
In 40+ years of rving I've lost the tread off one tire, it did not blow out, it did take out the sewer dump connection, that was my fault for putting LT tires on a heavy 5th wheel.
IMHO nowadays "made in America" means it cost a lot more, not necessarily made better.
Just my .02 cents!
It is however your 5th wheel & your $$$$$ so buy what you feel is the best deal!

On the way to the 2019 RW Rally we blew a GY G114 tire. Talked to GY and filled out some paperwork, then had to take the tire to a GY Dealer to be shipped back to GY for inspection. They did rule in our favor and received a check for partial replacement cost.
Sailuns have a prorated warranty. I forget the exact terms, but can be found on their site.

Well, guess we get to see what the Sailun warranty amounts too. Just returned to home base after visiting friends in the Mass/New Hampshire area and found this:

Didn't lose pressure or show any indications of a problem, so don't even know when it happened.

There has been a rash of similar failures showing up on the Montana Forum.
Looking into going back to Goodyear as there are no Sailun Dealers to be had where we're at and I need a spare within the next three weeks.
Tires were installed at the 2019 RW Rally and have 15K miles on them. Always kept aired up to 125 PSI and monitored by me TST 507, showed no indication of a problem.

Been doing some research and I think when I replace these H rated Sailuns I’m going to go next size up to the J rated 235 and a wider wheel. Footprint is a lot bigger, still 14 ply and looking at load charts, I can run 90 psi and still have more load capacity at that pressure than the 215. Should be a better ride also.

I have always believed in Goodyear due to the warranty…. I hope you get taken care of with the Saliun…

How are you making out with Sailun warranty?Are they easy to work with? I am on the fence about going with Sailun or staying with Goodyear

I ordered a replacement Sailun thru Walmart and am getting a check for the replacement cost from Tredit since I purchased the tire through their Retail Seller.
So we're good to go, but will be keeping a close watch on them.
