Tire load

I have Nitto Terra Grapplers on my Superduty F350. It says the load rating is 3750 at 80psi (LT275/65/R20) Our new 38GK has a pin weight of 2,678. Will my existing tires be OK with the load rating?

What is the weight on the Rear axle of the TV with everything loaded, including passenger, into the TV for a trip?? No way to know until you have that number, then it will still be a guess until you have the RW hooked up and fully loaded and everything weighed.
As for the pin weight, depending on the options you add it could reach 4K such as us and some others (ours is listed as 2660).
We're carrying almost 8K on our tires, but we have four back there.

Our pin weight light was about 2400 to 2500lbs and once we were loaded it was 3100lbs, and that is packing lightly and zero contents in the tanks. The pin weight adds up real quickly.

With a 2012 F350 SRW we are within 150lbs of max load on rear axle. As per the previous post you have to get each axle weighed on the truck without the trailer and then again with the trailer, with the combination loaded how you plan to travel.

You also need to consider the truck GVW, as we were 50lbs over until I move the water around.

Tires will be fine @ 80 psi in the rear as they are the same as mine -
now your GAWR and GVWR, and GCWR - dunno yet ...
as we don't know exactly which truck you have other than ford f350 and if those tires, probably > 2010 - but srw? drw? cc? lb ? options ? camper pkg ?

Show/tell us what's on your drivers door sticker - and we can tell you... since there are a few of us that have done this 'homework lesson'

I just went to my local dmv and the state let me register for 12,500 GVWR.... doesn't change the ACTUAL gvwr, but makes me a bit betta for TexUS !

Realistic pin weight is going to be closer to 3,500 without water or generator.

JB, just an FYI. I recently raised our TV's reg weight to 14,999 Lbs because our RL was pushing our TV's GVWR close to it's 13K rating.
We have just about every option except the Dish Washer and we loaded for Long Term Travel.

Sorry for not including more info. My TV is a 2008 Ford SWD F350 Super duty with a Powerstroke 6.4 diesel It has the towing package and the extra camper overload spring. I am ordering the Firestone air rides.

Yes, M&A ! and your mention was why I raised mine - course I had a cat scale weight to know what my weights were before just going for 12500

Jhardin - not sure what the gvwr sticker says on yours, but I just put on airlift bags and their WirelessONE remote controlled compressor because they had $100 rebate thru the end of this month.... it's slick how it works !

good luck and glad to take it offline if you want to PM me your # and we can compare notes...

I prefer not to guess, but be sure. I weighed the tv, loaded ready to go but not hooked up. I then weighed the trailer and tv, hooked up ready to go. I now know what the tv weight is unhooked, and see if it fits within the TV's stated vehicle weight, and if the axles also are within stated limits. This also tells me what the total trailer weight is, what the pin weight is, and what the axles weight is and whether they are within the vehicle weights.
