Television Cables

Howdy all,
We are enjoying our first weekend away in our 38 GKS. We have figured out most of the new gadgets in our new rig. However, there is one question about all of TV cables. Here is my question. Is the a wiring schematic of the cable system in the coach. I have more satellite connections than I know how to use. Anyone have any advice they would like share?

Thanks
Grumpy

This has been a huge topic of discussion here on the forum. You should also do a search to see what has been discussed.

Here is what I found on my new 2017 31SL:

Orange to the living room TV and roof satellite connection. Also the outdoor sat connection with the orange goes only to the living room.

I believe the other outside sat has a white cable going only to the bedroom

The cable TV outside connection runs both TV's on a black cable through the same outlet as the digital antenna and it is grey.

Turning the power button antenna button to the on position on the outlet that has the 12V lighter plug, will power the digital TV antenna on the roof. Others tell me (I have not tried it yet) that if you turn off that power antenna, it allows the park cable to be used through that same connection to the TV.

When connecting to any source through the non HDMI input on the TV (using broadcast or cable) you need to go to the input settings on the TV and do a channel search (takes several minutes).

I hope this helps you. I also took a labeler and made labels to put on every cable end and connector box inside and outside.

This certainly does not mean your coach is wired this way... others have different stories.

It would have been nice if Redwood would have labeled everything...

Oh, one more thing, I have an cable outlet in the bedroom that has a cable that goes to the living room. Not sure yet what it is for, but that cable appears only to go between the two rooms. Mine is just laying behind the living room TV not connected to anything...Brown color

As has been stated on here by other members, it probably wasn't the best idea to let the Amish do electrical or television work, not much experience.
