For me, replacing the 30s after filling are plenty heavy, would love the larger capacity of the 40s but do not want to deal with the extra weight of the 40s when replacing the tanks after filling.
I had the 30's swapped with 40's. No issue with gas line lengths. The 40's were selected as I had the Onan Gold 6.5 KW generator option added to our 2013 36RL.
