SRE 4000 for 39MB

Thinking of ordering the Moreryde 4000 & having it installed at the same time when I do the heavy duty Moreryde shackles & bronze bushings on my 39MB. Anyone have any info on which model # I'll need for the 39MB? For those of you who have done this upgrade, do you really see any improvement in ride/handling?

There is a BIG difference in the ride quality... My wife told me she felt a HUGE difference after the first hour of our first trip with the upgrade. NOW , that was an hour on 95 in the NE from North of Philly down to Delaware.. We claim that that is the worst stretch of 95!

Here is the email I received from MorRyde when I was doing that upgrade back in September - -
Joe,
This is what you need to measure to determine the wheel base. Measure from the center of the bolt hole of the front spring hanger to the center of the bolt hole of the rear spring hanger. A 59" measurement is equal to a 33" wheelbase and a 61" measurement equals a 35" wheelbase.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks,
Chris Null

TO ADD - - -

IF your doing both the SRE4000 AND the HD Shackles , you will need the 2-1/4" shackle kit...
Now is the time to do that upgrade . . Your installer will already have ALL the parts OFF that need to come of to make that swap.. virtually no additional installation fees should be added...

I just put these in our 2015 39MB. Only pulled it a couple miles so hard to tell how much it will help. I went with the 33 inch as our measurements were 31.5 inches using their instructions.

That's the info I needed !! Thanks !! Already have the U012-021 Heavy duty shackle kit...... wonder if that makes a big difference...... think it's 2 1/8 " vs 2 1/4 " for the U012-016 kit ?

I URGE you to do the numbers before purchasing... IF I went by all the other folks that did it , and IF I went by what Lippert told me my wheel base was , I would have gotten the wrong kit...
my email from RW -
'Joe, below is the e-mail that I just received from Lippert confirming wheel base is 33” -

This was off information THEY gathered from the FRAME STICKER and the VIN number...

Do the measuring ! !

It is either 3-1/8" - - OR 2-1/4" . . You will NEED the shorter if doing the SRE4000
