We love, love, love our new 36FB Redwood. It truly feels like home. But, we do have this squeak in the floor of the bedroom. What is the process used to remedy this problem? Has anyone else experienced this problem and how was it solved?

We have noticed squeaking floor in several areas of the coach depending on the surface it's sitting on. Don't know how to address the problem or if it can be corrected. This forum is full of knowledgeable RV'ers. Hopefully one of them knows how to fix it. Edited by: Grandpa

Babby and Grandpa, the correct procedure to eliminate the squeeking would have been for Rewood to have glued and screwed the floor boards to the joists. Now the only recouse is to pull up the laminate flooring, rescrew them, and replace the laminate. Alternatively, if you can find the offending joist from the underside of the RV, you can screw up through the joist to the floorboards. Sorry.Edited by: Adamsvr

Thank you for the input, Adamsvr.
By the way ~ Congratulations on purchasing a new Redwood!

We have had the squeak eliminated by a reputable rv repairman in Canton, TX. So happy to be on our way with our home!

Grandpa, sure hope you will be able to have those squeaks eliminated soon.

I'm sure this process is similar to buying a new house, car, etc. Got to get the issues resolved, then enjoy things as much as possible before repairs are made.
