Has anyone installed either of these on their Redwood (or any past brand RV) instead of the standard slide toppers typically seen on RVs?

We had the standard ones on our Landmark and did feel they helped protect the top slide seals from UV rays and leaking from hard driving wind blown rains. Which along with those advantages came the flutter and the ponding on the longer slides.

But, does the Solera system work as well as their video shows and claims? I do think they would look much cleaner on our Redwood and I like the simplicity in the operation of them as compared to their counterparts.

Good topic as I opted not to get the toppers, but having second thoughts now...

My birthday is coming up and my wife asked me what I wanted... she didn't blink @ the guess of $1500 dollars

Our dealer started ordering them from factory installed. He was having to do them on every Redwood he sold and said that factory can do them better. Mine came with them.

Buddy, you're talking about toppers, not the solara sqeezy foldy things the OP is asking about.

We've considered the Solera on the curbside slideout as factory-installed awning is positioned too high to allow a slide topper to be installed. Would love to hear if anyone has them and how they work.

Oh wow - I didn't realize that. Now that you say it, I can see how that would be an issues, and there is now way to lower the awning because of the window.
