I would try closing both valves separately to make sure both cylinders are working properly
Make sure both are fully closed or fully open
Check fluid level with everything retracted which you probably have done.
Try running Jack's fully out and in a few times and also the slides
It could be air in the lines. Also check all fittings you can get to for tightness and leakage

I would say that if your slide is drifting out then you are probably losing pressure somewhere since the slides depend on the pressure in the cylinder to keep that from happening.
