Slide out topper

I want to put a topper on my slide out. But I think the end of the topper will hit the side of the waning arm.

Yes! Some/most of the early RWs if they didn't install them while being built the factory mounted the awnings too high to add toppers. I think I'd lower the awning & fill the holes with silicone, only the very top hole might show, mount the toppers.

I had looked long and hard at our '12 RL and determined that a Topper could be put on the Living Room Slide by dropping the Awning just slightly, but we ended up trading for our current MB before I ever got the ambition to tackle the issue.

I did lower my awning on the slide as they had it mounted very crooked, 2" lower on the rear arm so lowered the front arm.
