Slide in a slide

I am looking at a rig with slide in the slide. Has anyone had problems with this option?

We have not had any issues. We have the Schwintek slide system. it should be lubed. The way it works and how to lube it is on this video:

We have the slide in slide in our 16 , and with only using it since July no issues.. We love what it does for the bedroom and the outside seating!

Year and a half of full timing and not a single complaint. Love the extra space in the bedroom and not having a headache maker on the patio! Just be ready for the "I've never seen anything like that" comments at every park you go to!

Thanks everyone. I know there have been some schwintek issues and the new rigs have cable on their bedroom slides. I have a 12 36rl and thinking of upgrading. I have not had problems. I always hold the button in and only put slide out when level.

I have had Schwintek Slides on 2 5th Wheels now, or previous SOB and our Redwood.

The Schwintek system seems to work pretty good on the smaller / light weight slides and has performance issues on larger / heavy slides.

We have only had ours for a couple of months. No issues. We love the extra room that it gives in the bedroom.
