Sink Drain Leak

Well it happened this weekend and we talked about this in another thread. The leak in the sink drain and what caused this was once again quality at RW. The plumber made the sink drain about 1/2" to long so it was rubbing on the slide as it moved in and out. Today when I was sliding it out it jumped and I knew something was wrong and then I see water on the floor. Had to remove the DW that I just put in and the cabinet floor. There it was as it pulled the flex hose completely out of the pipe. You could tell it had been rubbing since day 1 if you look close at the elbow in the pic but must have just moved enough to finally get hung on the slide. Pictures tell the story and I also cut away some unneeded wood for extra clearance along with shortening the drain pipe.
Not sure of all the layouts but in ours there is a cabinet behind the toilet with dead space in the bottom. I'll also attach a picture as I will now make a hinged lid to store all our paper goods in this once unused area.

Good fix! That's exactly how the w/d drain is plumbed under our bed and several have had issues with that.

Yup
First time we hooked up the washer there was water coming out from under the bed. The end of the flex hose that looked like it was jb welded to the end of the flex came apart. Fixed it and no problems since. The great thing with this forum is that all the minor problems you have have already been posted here. So when something comes up you know exactly where to look first
