This is from an LCI In wall component sheet. You need to determine what kind you have.

Shane,
I need to replace the motor on our bedroom slide. I am glad to see that you have tackled this first. Any helpful hints would be great. It seems like it should be a pretty straightforward replacement/repair. From the LCI video I saw, it looks like once we remove the screw that holds the motor, it is just a matter of pulling out the old one and plugging in the new one. The mobile tech suggested I replace both motors while I'm doing it.

as Rob said just like the Utube video. Remove the screw in the side of the motor accessed from the outside unplug the wiring harness and pry the motor up and out from the inside of the traier. more than likely the wire is broke off the motor. the plug for the harness was on a short pig tail directly to the circuit board where the wires let go. the new ones are improved with the plug directly on the motor. May have to take the inside trim off to accsess it

We were able to get pic of the motor. Looks like our large bedroom slide has the 300-1 motor. Wonder why ours got the smaller motor? We can't easily get to the small slide motor to confirm it is also a 300-1. When I originally called Tiara about getting a replacement, they were certain enough they almost ordered the 500-1 without a picture of the motor. Seems like this part should be consistent from RW to RW.

That might be for the slide in slide center.

Just completed the slide motor replacement. I replaced both motors on the large bedroom slide. Ours has the 300-1 on our big slide. I am assuming the small slide has the same size in ours. Maybe they put the 500-1 in our small slide. I am guessing someone had the smaller motor in their hand and didn't want to go after the bigger motor.

Did you upgrade to the 500's or stay with what was in it?

We didn't upgrade to the 500, from what I could find... the gearing is different and so if they put 300 on, it cannot be changed to the 500 without changing the rails. Hope I am not wrong about that. I would have loved to put a better motor on.
