Rolling blind in main slide

We have a RL38 and the blind by the Table and door in the side of the slide. It has a Day and a night blind setup. When we picked up the RV back in Feb we noticed that the blind was to short to cover the window both the day and the night.

The dealer sent us the blind that RW sent out as a replacement but all we received was the night blind. I called RW and they say that window only has a night blind on it. Seems Odd that this would be the only Window in the coach that is this way the rest are two blind set up.

My questions anyone else have this issue or what do you have in that side slide window?

We have the same year/model and all shades are day and night except the bedroom shades which only have the single night shade.

All of ours, including the bedroom have both day/night shades. I have seen some manufacturers now advertising only night shades in the bedrooms.

Shame if it is just cost savings, because we use the black day shades when it gets hot out, really helps with keeping the rig cool and lets in light.

Sounds like I need to call and get the correct blind. I like the day blinds helps with heat and lets us see out still.

It is kinda funny that these things in same model years are all different. It's like someone didn't lay out all the parts for the installers so they just leave them off. I can see changes being made halfway through the year for the better but not the other way around

Every RV I've ever had has been that way. They aren't tied to the model year like automotive. If they want to change something, they just do it. The advantage of a small production line.

I was showing Dory the cross section of Redwoods at the dealer during the graphic and exterior cap transition. There was the older style like ours, the newer style like yours, and inbetween was one with the new paint but the old caps, and on the forum I saw one with the old paint but the new caps I believe.

WOW that's crazy as we had the exact same window with the short blind. We lucked out I guess because they replaced our with day/night shades and that was just last month so don't let them get away with that.

Contacted RW this morning and they are trying to figure out the blind situation. turns out I have a different size window in that side of the slide. sounds like they had this window there so cut hole little bigger and put it in. They were going to look up the prints to our RV and see what the window size is and get back to me.

As I remember, these are not manufactured with robotics. Robotics are too dumb to realize that the shade they just installed is too small for the window.......
