Rock chips

Just wondering what others are doing to protect their camper from rock chips. I have looked at attachments you can put on the truck, like Rock Guard, but are there other options? Clear bra? or??
Thanks

We have a few minor dings in the lower section under the pin box area only down low. I was considering putting a thin piece of diamond plate across the front to the top of the front basement door , I think that around 30" tall.

I haven't looked into it, but I've heard of other RVers who have had the front section sprayed with a Bed Liner product and if you find the right one that they can even match the current color.

Acfew years back I had talked to the Line X dealer about doing it with a matching color, but never got around to getting it done.

You can look into paint protection film (PPF). Clear film that goes on like window tint. Not a cheap solution but should work well. What others have said about bed liner for the lower section would be a little less $, maybe. I haven’t had it done and it’s way too late for ours.

We had our front lower area sprayed with rhino liner dark gray polyurea about five years ago. It has been bulletproof. It is about 3/16 of an inch thick and the color matches the gray in our full body paint. The cost was in the area of $450 and well worth it.

That looks really good. Presently I am getting a few quotes and finding out which shop has the room for my camper.
Thanks

You can buy the same stuff from amazon or Ace hardware for $75.00 in any color you want . I did the bed of my truck and it looks great nice and shiny like gloss enamel paint.
it is called Herculiner.com
