Roadside Assistance

I took delivery on my new coach one month ago. I received correspondence in the mail from Coach-Net saying that Crossroads provided me with a "special gift" of a Coach-Net membership. It also notes that it is complimentary (free). It has an expiration date one year after my delivery date.

I am always leery of "free" stuff but this looks official. Also all of the new cars I have purchased over the last several years have come with free (I am sure you pay for it in some way) roadside assistance. However, this is provided through the manufacturer and not a 3rd party.

Does anyone know if this is a legitimate free service that Crossroads provides to their new customers or is this an opportunity for the 3rd party to upsell me something.

I would like to know before I go to their website and start the registration process.

I appreciate the groups feedback.

Yes it's legitimate, never had to use it, but their rep was at the '13 rally & it sounded like a good deal.

To the best of my knowledge, Coach net has always been given with all new purchases. Of course, after the free year they would hope you would renew. I never used them because I already had Good Sam Roadside assistance but if I had needed them I would not have hesitated to call them.

Larry..........yes, Redwood has always included a year of Coach-Net roadside service with your purchase of a new Redwood. Unfortunately, many of of the dealers don't do a good job of informing the new owner about it. I did not know about it until nearly the end of the first year, but, after attending the first rally at Redwood in the fall of 2012, I had the opportunity to talk with the Coach-Net representative and I have renewed the service since then. Coach-Net has at least 3 levels of service that you can sign up for. Depending on which level of service that you desire, it will cost approximately $150. per year.

Hope this helps.

I called Coach-Net. It is indeed active for the first year on Redwood!

The reviews on Google were mostly all good.

It would have been a good thing for the dealer to tell me but very nice anyway.
