According to the tag outside, in the frog compartment, the ice maker is subject to freeze at 0 degrees.

That looks like a much nicer fix for the freezer - and maybe one of the top doors (assuming they go in the jamb), but now sure how you would close the last door and secure it.

The flat piece mounts on the edge of the left door, the latch mounts on the front of right door and a second one is used on the right side of the freezer. Will have to see if I can get pics of the install.
I believe there is an install sheel on the their web site that you can view, gives better details.

Ah, I was think the plate mounted to the inside where the center post was. Didn't think about it being mounted on the door itself.

If you're near a Jayco dealer you can see that latch setup on Jaycos that have the residential Fridge.

I was impressed to see that RW had installed a locking device on our new residential fridge. (2015GK)It is a large black knob about 3 inches or more in diameter that threads into the front of the refrigerator situated between the 3 doors. It looks like it will work very well. Sorry the units in storage so not able to take any pictures...Ian.

Within the last several weeks we've looked at new RWs with the Residential Fridge and they were using the approx 10-12 piece of double sided velcro on the fridge doors and nothing on the freezer drawer. I will probably order a couple of the latches I posted above, so we can add them before even pulling the new unit back to our Winter home, unless I find something even better, but it looks pretty secure on the fridge in our friends Jayco. Anybody in Redwood Listening????

Back to draining the lines on the icemaker. We have a plumber completely drain the lines in our home before we leave(a week without power during the winter happens about every year). He told me to take off the icemaker soeinoid and take it with us as the solenoid housing is pastic and very difficult to completely drain. Not sure what the solenoid is on the residential refrigerators are like, but food for thought.
