Replace Toilet in 3921GK

I would like to replace my factory Thetford toilet with a Dometic 320 but have a couple of questions I'm hoping someone can help me with. I've verified that I have the necessary flange dimension of 11 inches from the rear wall to the center of the drain so the Dometic toilet should fit. My concern is the overall length of the toilet. In my 3921GK I have a separate water closet from the shower. The water closet has a vanity in front of the toilet and with the existing Thetford toilet I've only got 15 1/4 inches from the front of the bowl to the cabinet. The Thetford is 19" deep and the Dometic 320 appears to be 22" deep. I do have about 3" of clearance behind the Thetford to the wall. I'm concerned that the Dometic 320 might extend to far forward and limit movement when using the vanity. It may not be an issue though if the Dometic sits closer to the rear wall.

If anyone has installed the Dometic 320 could you please provide me with a few measurements? I need the dimension from the back wall to the flange bolt, the dimensions from the back of the toilet to the wall and the overall length of the 320 toilet. If I can get these I should be able to calculate my front clearance. I'd sure appreciate it!

Replaced my Thetford with a Dometic 320 this past fall because I didn't want to risk the consequences of another Thetford's foot pedal coming off and spewing water everywhere that happened with my last SOB 5th wheel. The flange bolts are 12 inches from the back wall. There is 1 1/2 inches between the back of the toilet to the wall. The measurement from the wall to the front of the toilet is 23 1/2 inches. In other words, looks like your measurements regarding the length of the 320 oval toilet are correct. It's really an easy change out.

Changed out the Thetford toilet for a Dometic 320 in our 31SL. No problems with the fit and a much better toilet. The ball seal can be changed without removing or disassembling the toilet!

This is exactly what I needed. I should have plenty of clearance to install this toilet! Thank you!
