Removing dinette wall mount bracket

Hi...I'm considering replacing the dinette table on my 2011 36rl with a custom desk.....this will require removing the wall mount tabletop bracket .....does anyone know of any reason why I can't remove the bracket without compromising some structure somewhere.....seems pretty straight forward but assuming anything on these rigs is generally a bad idea.....your replies are much appreciated

We originally special ordered a 36RL and requested the Free Standing Table that was used in the FL Models. We wanted the ability to move the table if we wanted, so I see no reason you can't remove yours if you wish.

Like Danny, I’m in the process of removing ours now to do a large custom buffet.
