Might want to try sending a message via the website. In my experience they respond quickly.

I called RW and they gave me the voicemail of the Colorado rep. In his voicemail he gave his number. I called him and he answered all my questions. His name was Dan and # 763-350-6272. I wanted to if more changes were coming out on the 15's. He said small changes would continue as they came up to improve the RV. The big changes would be made late Sept-Oct.
I aslo wanted to know if the lavitory could be left out and a full wall of cabnets be put in in a 38gk.

Glad you connected with your rep...and that he was able to answer your questions.I'm not surprised that they are able to make the mod you want, I found that the mods we wanted were easy to get done, even while the coach was in production.

That's actually a pretty reasonable price for that mod.

Not that reasonable if you consider they are leaving out the plumbing, sink, and vanity cab. Plus the modified set up would make the bedroom cabinet wall like the 38 RL if I remember correctly. Interesting option....the DW is considering.

Interesting, as we asked Andy Wesdorp (former RW regional sales manager) about making the same change and he told us no. Go figure.

I guess it was the token cost for the change itself that shocked me. Parts are cheap but redesign and implementation on the floor I would have thought would come back in the thousands. Maybe they decided to make it a regular option, so the cost of the change gets absorbed across production.

Yes the bedroom would end up like the RL. I thought the cost was about right. Having been a manufacturing sales rep; I know how easy changes can be screwed up and costly to fix. I think if it had not been something they were already doing it would not have been posible. You think about it I'm asking for a RL bedroom in a GK.

Here is some irony, our 11/16/12 build sheet on a 36RL had a "2nd Lav in Bedroom" option for $779 MSRP.

Atom Ant, The sales rep told me he had never seen the request for the RL bedroom in a GK.

Hmmm - I would have thought they might have had some already, especially now that the non-sink bedroom has His/Her amoirs! Ours just has one on the left and the dresser and overhead cabinets extend to the adjacent wall if the Lav option wasn't selected.

Yikes... I hope he's still there because Andy Wesdorp was Redwood's last best asset. He's the reason I actually pulled the trigger on my 36RL after he called to answer one of my many sales questions from an airport, somewhere, at night. Anyone know where he is?

I always went to say "Hi" at the annual Springfield, MA RV Show and he would treat me like Redwood's best customer! What a great guy!

If he's no longer there, that will be sad and then the only person from the startup I know that hasn't gotten the broom will be Ron Howard (another "good guy").

Do they get the "broom" or do they get tired of the exhaustive travel?

5th time I agree. He treated us the same way. We too went to that show and became a Redwooder right then and there. We've also had contact with all the past greats. We wish them all well and give them our sincere thanks.

We ordered our 38GK the first night of the KC RV Show but went back the next night to meet Andy when we heard he was going to be there. Great guy, and gave us confidence about Redwood. Makes you wonder what is going on over there. We wish the best for Andy and the others who have left Redwood, and hope their replacements are as good or better.

WOW just talked to Andy 8th Feb in Richmond Va and never talked like he was leaving or unhappy with RW and yes he was the one I talked to when RW came out and then finely got mine 2 years ago when I couldn’t find anything better. Just like 5th time said he always treats you like you’re the best customer.
